I ordered the Tampiqueña steak and it was delicious! The pico de gallo was fresh and the homemade habanero salsa was excellent! The live music was a plus but I believe they only have it Wednesday nights. Adriana went above and beyond to make my experience here wonderful!

Very nice layout and vibe in here for a true legit Mexican restaurant. All the spots are nice to sit and it's near inside here too. All the servers are nice and helpful and will continuously provide you with everything you need and want. The food is good too but I did mess up and not remember to take pictures as I always do.

Had lunch here. It was so good brought my husband for dinner the same day. Best Mexican food I have had. Wow!!!

Ambiance is intimate and beautiful. The table seating is uniquely crafted seats and tables. The booth seating is also quite luxurious. I loved the extensiveness of the menu. It was so hard to pin down what to order. I decided on the TEXAS FAJITAS - a combination plate of steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. It came out SIZZLING HOT! I would have preferred slightly larger cuts of meat. It did just disappear into the grilled onions and peppers. Flour tortillas were nice and soft. And rice and beans were perfectly fluffy and flavorful. Definitely great for a family dinner or date night.

We were wanting to try something different than our go to restaurants for Cinco de Mayo and were not disappointed. It was busy of course but we were greeted, seated and fed promptly & efficiently. We started with the guacamole and chips. Very fresh and flavorful. I'm normally a beef burrito kinda girl but wanted something different and went with the shrimp burrito. My husband had the pork carnitas. Both were very good but his dish was so tender & flavorful. Portion sizes were ample & the fresh pico really enhanced the dishes. The decor was beautiful & and a wonderful photo opportunity for this amateur photographer. Felt like I was back in Cabo! We will definitely be returning.

This Mexican restaurant is located next to the Mercado on Lorna Road. When you walk in, you will love the vibe. You will feel like you're in a town in Mexico. Also, they have several frozen margarita flavors. I tried the blackberry, it was great! The peach is also good. The food is typical. I always get the bean burrito or the chicken fajitas.

I feel like it's been so hard recently to find comforting, hearty, good ol' Mexican food in town as of late! I haven't been to a dine-in Mexican place for dinner in a long time but giving Iguana Grill a chance was an extremely good decision. The interior is gorgeous and clean, overall a very family-friendly place that I will definitely bring my own family back to in the future. The food was exactly what I wanted- warm and comforting. The burrito pictured wasn't my order, but the few bites I had were decadent and to die for. Not to mention the SIZE on that bad boy! Super good for the price. The fish I got was tad bit dry but the sauce it was paired with made up for that entirely. Waiter was nice and filled up our never-ending chips&salsa before we had finished it and was just as attentive with our waters despite the place being pretty busy.

Ok so we have not been here in quite awhile. In August 2023 the Iguana Grill got a 70 from the health department during an inspection. Usually I don't pay attention to these things but a 70 is almost .....you know .....closing time........ so we decided to stay away from my favorite smoked salsa and grilled chicken salad until last night. The new inspection rating is 98 given in October 2023 so we took a chance. The food was good and we did not see any blatant violations so they have cleaned up the issues listed on the Jefferson County health Department website site. The only issue we had was a server in training. She handed my husband and I an extra plate (?of tortillas) . As my husband was unwrapping the foil to figure out what it was the server training the new server swooped in and grabbed them from his hand and said they were not for us and took them to the kitchen???? That was rude ......and who are you going to serve those to since it has been opened???? The right thing to do was leave it and suck up the mistake . Other than that the place is still fun and bright and full of good food!!!!!

I may live a sheltered life compared to some but let me tell you, this was the absolute best and most beautiful Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! I've eaten Mexican food IN MEXICO and it still didn't compare to this absolute gem of a place! From the moment you walk in your transported into this magical wonderland of sorts. The decor is top notch and far beyond what I ever expected to see in a restaurant with the menu prices at this establishment! Ever been through it's a small world at Disneyland or Disney World? That's how it felt for me. Just so much to take in! We had a party of ten which included two birthdays. Our server was on top of the service the entire time. Very attentive and pleasant. Our food came hot and fresh and absolutely delicious! They brought two sombreros for my sons along with their free dessert. They sang Happy Birthday and my sons didn't get it too much. If you Are in the area or passing through, stop and check this place out!!! You'll be happy you did.
